CrossFit Chickasaw - Tribe News


News about what's going on at CrossFit Chickasaw, and how its athletes are performing at various competitions!

Chris Kent, Sarah-Catherne Ryan, Robby Fromin, & Carley Lane competed in the Natural State Throwdown II held in Conway, Arkansas July 11th -12th.  Their team finished in 17th place overall.

Carley Lane and Sarah-Catherine Ryan competed at the Garage Games Southern BarBelle Bash held at CrossFit Little Rock on June 14th.  Sarah-Catherine placed 9th in the Elite division and Carley placed 2nd in the Intermediate division.

Andy Werling and Lindsey Erwin competed in the Dragonfly Triathlon June 14th in Sardis, Mississippi.  Andy placed 8th in the 25-29 age group and Lindsey placed 8th in the 30-34 age group.

Michelle Kinney placed 3rd at the CrossFit Central East Regional held May 16th - 18th in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her 3rd place earned her a 4th bid (2010, 2011, 2013, 2014) to the CrossFit Games in Carson, California July 25th.

Andrew Seamons competed in the Memphis in May Olympic Distance Triathlon in Robinsonville, Mississippi on May 18th.  Andrew finished in a time of 2:49:25 placing 37th in the 40-44 age group.

Lindsey Erwin and Andy Werling competed in the Memphis in May Sprint Triathlon on May 17th in Robinsonville, Mississippi.  Lindsey finished 4th in the female 30-34 age group in a time of 1:22:32 and Andy finished 12th in the male 25-29 age group in a time of 1:19:23

Gavin Taylor, Sarah Aldy, Karen Malogorski, Robby Fromin, Sarah-Catherine Ryan, and Carley Lane completed the CrossFit Gymnastics Trainer Course held at CrossFit Chickasaw May 10th & 11th.

Ben Lehman placed 25th in the elite division at the Indiana Spartan Sprint held April 26th in Laurel, Indiana.

Michael Symonanis placed 84th in the Ouachita Trail 50k in a time of 8:49:24 on April 26th in Little Rock Arkansas.

Karen Malogorski finished 47th in the Womens 40-44 Master's Qualifier of the CrossFIt Games.  Out of roughly 5,100 to start the Open in this category, Karen's finish puts her in the top 1% of CrossFitters in the WORLD. The tribe is extremely proud.
