Getting Started at CrossFit Chickasaw

Next Fundamentals Course dates: July 17th - August 6th

Getting started at CrossFit Chickasaw is easy.  We offer a FREE 3 week Fundamentals course that introduces you to the whats, hows, and whys of our program.  The course first prepares you for CrossFit, and then gives you a chance to experience our classes.

 

Part 1

The first 2 weeks of the course you will participate in 6 one-hour classes. We will meet Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 6:30 PM.

Each class is divided into 3 parts. The first part is a short interactive discussion about our methods and philosophies. Some of the topics we will visit include:

  • How and why we use the movements we employ to maximize your general physical preparedness (GPP)

  • What to eat and why

  • What gear you absolutely need (and what you don’t) to be successful at CrossFit



Next we will go through a warm-up and teach you some of the movements that form the foundation of CrossFit. You will receive one-on-one advice on technique, and we will ensure you are learning to move correctly and safely.

Then it's time for a tough workout that will let you practice your new skills and challenge you.

Part 2

Upon completion of Part 1, you receive a full week of FREE Unlimited CrossFit classes.

We offer over 35 class times per week. These one-hour sessions are held 7 days a week at various times throughout the day, so you can find the class that fits your schedule the best.
